Even in the deep, dark depths of winter I can still find a Digbeth warehouse alternative wedding that has the most vibrant colour scheme and the coolest of wedding outfits!
Amongst the warehouses, exposed brick and neon signs of Digbeth, Birmingham I did the sickest autumnal wedding, full of the brightest shades of orange and the shortest of wedding dresses! This wedding really was a pop of colour in the soft earthy tones of autumn. Steph and Adam really made this day unapologetically them – Bold, Bright and absolutely Bursting with their vibrant personality.

Starting the day off right, naturally I got myself a sausage sarni from Kanteen – the breakfast of kings! Knowing that Steph didn’t want her morning prep captured, I headed straight to the Factory Works and was able to spend some time with Adam and his Groom Crew (looking very dapper) – I also love any wedding with a silver sequin jumpsuit so I am LOVING the grooms-woman’s EPIC style! And obviously I was all over Peach Wolfe’s stationery the minute I walked in, so I snagged a handful of confetti and let myself loose with a Gawjus stationery flat lay. I don’t think any gallery is complete unless you’ve got a dedicated section for that detailed goodness – you’ve got to appreciate it when it becomes a reality after spending months on your Pinterest board!
The 170 guests started trickling into the ceremony room from this Digbeth warehouse alternative wedding, in the most awesome array of outfits, Steph and Adam’s guest really knew how to dress for a November Wedding! These sure were some Sexy Ass Guests – I felt like I had found my people! With streamers fluttering overhead in a variety of shades of oranges and pinks, and the odd disco ball thrown in for good measure, the guests were getting themselves settled for what was shaping out to be an insane wedding!

Steph pulled up in her grandad’s red convertible car with her dad (looking proud as punch) and I think it’s safe to say that Steph’s wedding outfit was The Statement Dress of the year!
The streamers in bright oranges, yellows and pinks were pride of place, adorning the ceiling of the Digbeth warehouse alternative wedding – contrasting epically against the white of the room! The biggest yellow flower arrangement set the tone at the top of the aisle, as guests made their way to their seats, they could see the awesomely bright orange arches that made the bottom of the aisle! With such simplistic extravagance I was in love with every inch of this space!
When Steph got out the car, she was greeted by all her girlfriends for one last hype session before she made it down the aisle – really proving the point that you will always have more than one family in your life (and your girls will always be there to hype you up!). With a couple of tears from dad we wiped them away, took a shot and set our sights on meeting the groom!
With each bedazzled bridesmaid making their way down the aisle, Adam knew he was in for an intense wait for his bride. Steph tapped him on his shoulder and the biggest grin lit up his face as Adam saw her for the first time! Bouncing between laughter and tears, this ceremony had it all – ending with the most perfect foot popping kiss, Adam and Steph made their way back up the aisle under showers of confetti and the brightest of streamers!

Drinks, stories and epic canapés were shared amongst the guests as Steph and Adam made their way round the room laughing and joking with all their nearest and dearest. Their friends and family really matched the vibe of the epically cool couple – just ‘cos it’s a winter wedding, doesn’t mean the wedding outfits need to disappoint!
Taking full advantage of the orange archways – we used this as the perfect spot for groups and the most perfect bridal party photo shoot. These girls made it feel like I was shooting the Spice Girls, with their awesome girl power vibes (and poses), it definitely gives you a bit of somethin’ extra when ya girls are all in silver!

Another load of confetti was set off over Adam and Steph before we made our way onto the gritty streets of Digbeth for an awesome street wedding portrait sesh. Between posing up a storm (these kids could really hit the cover of Vogue) and full on enjoying a few minutes out of the party, I was able to get some of my fav shots of all time – I just loved the vibe they were bringing!
Steph changed up her shoes from chunky white platform heels, to the cutest white Doc boots, still perfectly holding onto this Edgy Bride title! We were soon invaded by the cutest pups so naturally we had a small pup portrait session before making our way to the Digbeth warehouse.

Heading back into the venue, where banquet tables were set up and the most amazing lightning bolt neon light had been set up between Steph and Adam’s sweetheart table (personal fav way of having your wedding breakfast). Guests were introduced to two of Steph’s closest girls, who started the speeches in style, followed impressively by Steph’s dad (who had the room in stitches and tears) before Adam’s best man took to the stage to end the talks.

Not wanting to seem too boring, Adam and Steph then went onto an arcade where we took on retro gun slinging game, and then onto a dance matt (which Steph absolutely rocked!). Finding ourselves back on the streets of Digbeth, ever so slightly tipsy, I got them to have a quick twirl under the night lights before making our way back into the party for the first dance.

As a sweet surprise, towards then end of the song the guests released confetti cannons on this epic couple, really encompassing this awesome day! Steph then pulled her dad onto the dancefloor, whilst Adam rocked their gorgeous baby girl (and I may have shed a slight tear at how beautiful this moment was, before I pulled my beard back on and got back to it!).
Moves were pulled, and decks were spun, with this brightly coloured winter wedding slowly coming to a close. DJ Matt Stocks really pulled it out the bag, keeping the vibes of this party pumpin’! I was in awe at the energy this group still had – and it looked like it wasnever ending! This truly was a party to end all parties – I love when it’s not just your couple who bring the energy, but all their friends are family are truly a vibe! Epic beyond all words!

If weddings had playlists, Steph + Adam’s would be a banger after banger on repeat.
I can’t express how much fun I had helping make your day as awesome as it was!
